Just apply the patch.. and do not update it again.. You will get it for lifetime.

to make compatiable ,,with mozilla of any version,,,,,first go to google and ,,INTEGRATE INTERNET DOWNLOAD MANAGER WITH MOZILLA,,click in the first result come in goole,,and another page opens and at the last there you can see INSTALL,,and hit that install tag and after installation,,your IDM is COMPATAIBLE with MOZILLA.
